Angels wings
Angels wings in Poland are called chruściki or faworki. Deep fried pastry, shaped in twisted ribbons and sprinkled with powdered sugar. Very popular back at home. You should try it.
2 glasses of flour
1/2 teaspoon sugar
2 egg yolks
3/4 glass of thick cream
1 teaspoon spirit or vinegar
pinch of salt
oil for frying
Add salt, sugar, egg yolks, spirit/vinegar and cream to the flour. And knead a dough. Thinly roll the dough and cut into stripes of size 2x7 cm, cut each stripe inside, one end of the stripe put through the cut to shape twisted ribbon. Fry in the oil till the colour becomes gold, put it on the paper till the oil soaks and sprinkle with powdered sugar.
You can make roses from the sam dough :)
